Material performance
Good arc resistance and electrical insulation, good water resistance and heat resistance, suitable for compression molding, suitable for making arc resistant electrical parts and explosion-proof electrical insulation parts.
Formability
1. With good fluidity and fast hardening speed, the preheating and molding temperature should be appropriate, and the coating, mold closing and pressurization speed should be fast.
2. Large molding shrinkage.
3. There are many volatile substances containing water, which are easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate. When forming, it should be preheated and dried to prevent re absorption of moisture. However, if it is too dry, the fluidity will decline. There are moisture, decomposition products and acid during molding. The mold should be chrome plated to prevent corrosion. Air should be exhausted during molding.
4. The molding temperature has a great impact on the quality of plastic parts. If the temperature is too high, it is easy to decompose, discolor, and the bubble color is uneven. If the temperature is too low, the fluidity is poor and the luster is not bright.
5. The material is thin, the specific volume is large, and there is much air inflation in the material. When forming large plastic parts with pre compressed ingots, it is easy to produce ripples and flow lines, so it is generally not suitable for use.
